Chef Wendy Brodie's Culinary Secrets Revealed In Intimate Carmel Highlands Setting.
Choose from one of several intimately designed cooking demonstrations in Chef Wendy's own private exhibition kitchen. Unique lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on participation make this a truly memorable and inviting opportunity. Of these exciting classes, certain ones finish with an intimate lunch with the Chef. Participants indulge in culinary creations, socialize in a warm museum-like setting, and take in breath-taking vistas. Classes can be custom designed to best fit your program and schedules. Gather old friends for a private class or make new ones in an on-going instructional series from novice to pro where you'll learn: Professional Cooking Techniques, Fabulous Food Presentation, Tricks to Successful Menu Planning, and Spectacular Table and Centerpiece Design.

Thank you very much for your interest in our cooking classes with Wendy Brodie. Art of Food with Wendy Brodie© is now a National PBS Television broadcast show.
The class structure is as follows: the greeting is about 1⁄2 hour, the actual demo/teaching is about 1 1⁄2 - 2 hours and then lunch for another hour or so. Thus the whole event is about 3 1⁄2 - 4 hours, day or evening and weekdays or weekends.

 

You will need to put together your own group.  
There is a minimum charge of 6 people for a class and up to 20 if desired. We meet at Zenwood, our home with a demonstration kitchen, in the Carmel Highlands, usually around 10:30 AM (however this can be adjusted). There is about 1⁄2 hour of meet-and-greet with mimosa, champagne, wine or coffee then into the kitchen. The hands-on and demonstration lasts about 1 1⁄2 to 2 hours and can be structured around your interests. Then it’s on to the luncheon table for the three courses you just created. The cost is $125 (or $150.00 for evening event)** per person plus wine on consumption and there is a 20% gratuity added for the labor required.  

It is best for you to speak personally with Wendy to determine your interests and level of instruction; she teaches skills from novice to professional. The balance of the charges is due at the time of the class. If the booking is less than 21 days prior to the scheduled class, the deposit is due in full upon booking.
